I have bought NS Flex Weekend Free subscription. 

The discount that is received or the free travel over the weekend, is it applicable only for trains or is it applicable for trams and buses as well?

The discount is only for trains. You will pay full price for travelling by bus, trams and metro.

So, i stay in Amstelveen where i think the operator is GVB, so this NS Flex ticket useless?

Then you won't have a discount for the journeys. If you don't use the train, my advice is to revoke the contract. You can contact our customer service or that.
