Problem with weekend vrij

I bought a weekend vrij subscription on 18th April. I traveled on 19th April but the weekend vrij was not active and they still charge me the normal amount. How do I get my money back?

Yes it is my first NS subscription on that card. I didn’t load the subscription on the machine.

That means you're not using it yet. You should have received an e-mail that you need to load NS Flex on your chipcard. This is only needed once. Any subsequent subscription changes take effect immediately.
