Good evening, I would like to know if this Tuesday 1st May 2024(Labour Day) is a public holiday?Because I have weekend Vrij Subscription and it includes public holiday? I will be charged today for travelling through NS Trains?
+4NS does not consider Labour Day a public holiday. You cannot travel for free with your Weekend Vrij subscription today. You can find a list of public holidays NS recognises at this page.
In The Netherlands and also in Denmark Labour Day doesn't exist. People have to go to work. So You can't travel free with Weekend Vrij..
