weekend vrij intecity supplement

Hi forum

I hold weekend vrij subscription. Do I need to take supplement tickets as well to travel intercity from Amsterdam to Rotterdam on Saturday ?

HI there 007854 and welcome to our Community.

The Intercity Direct supplement is always needed unless you hold an Intercity Direct Supplement subscription (which can be purchased alongside your Weekend Vrij subscription) or if you travel with an international ticket and Intercity Direct is part of your journey.

If none of these situations apply to you, a supplement will be needed when travelling on Intercity Direct between Rotterdam and Schiphol and vice versa, even on Saturday.
