wrong correction fare


Hi NS, 

I swapped my ov (3528 XXXX XXXX 7712) card  to check out in Roermond station about 17:30ish 22 Mar 2025 before I left the station. Screen of the machine notifiy it is check in, so I swapped again, there is an error, seems like can not check in twice. 

About 2 hours later, I came back and swapped the card at 19:27 pm for check-in. Screen of the machine show it seems in Dutch. I do not read Dutch. So can not confirm 100%. 

Later the NS inspector swapped my card showed I did not check in the train, today I recieced email that showed I have to pay 50:00 for correction fare. 

I do not think the correction fare is fair because I definitly swapped the ov card for check-in and check-out at Roermond station, but the machine did not correctly record my check-out at 17:30ish and recognize the intented check-in as check-out at 19:27 pm.

Most likely you checked in at a red Arriva pole in Roermond. If you tell that to Customer Service they will correct it.
