On May 2nd, there were no trains between Haarlem and Amsterdam due to maintenance. Therefore, I took the train from Amsterdam Central to Amsterdam Sloterdijk. To continue to Haarlem, I used the buses departing from Amsterdam Sloterdijk. However, I believe these buses were free of charge. When I got off the bus in Haarlem, I tapped my card, but I received an email stating that I would be charged 16 EUR due to not completing the checkout. I request a refund for this charge, as it was caused by the lack of a direct train from Amsterdam Central to Haarlem. As you can see, I regularly travel between Amsterdam Central and Haarlem every day. I showed my card because I wasn’t aware of the procedure, but this should not result in such a charge.
