You should contact customer service directly to see if a fine can be refunded. Usually, this is most easily done by phone, as they are available 24/7 at 030-751 51 55. You may also try to contact them by chat (click the link Chat with NS on this page) or by sending a message on Twitter or Facebook.

I think something is wrong, because €19 for an UVB is a strange amount. Or did you make a ‘betalingsregeling’ to pay something in terms?

Was the +19,40 a refund or did you reverse an auto debit (incasso)?
