debit card transactions and OV card question

Hello

 

how long for debit card transactions to show on the app? I also ordered a card for the weekend pass. Is it possible for me to load credit to this card so that I only use one constantly instead of switching between my debit and OV card on weekends?

Hello Ricardo7 and welcome to the NS Community!

Transactions made with your debit card should be visible within a few days. If you travel with a weekend subscription, discount is calculated each time you travel during weekend days. Outside of this period, we will charge full price for journeys made. Those journeys will appear on the same invoice if you travel with your OV-chipcard outside the weekend. It is not possible to travel with balance loaded on your OV-chipcard once NS Flex is on it.

    On a side note, I have two dedit cards linked to my account and they still don’t show bus rides from a month ago. OVpay showed them the next day. Station passages show up fine.

    So basically you are saying I don’t have to top up the OV card I use it as normal and it will deduct from by bank account?

    … and you do not need to use your bank card for travel outside the week-end, because NS will take care of it all (if you use the OV-kaart). Of course it will be full tariff outside the weekend.
