I just received my NS September invoice and there’s 50€ more on 14 of September. I am pretty sure that I checked in and out correctly. 
could you please guide me

Perhaps something went wrong with checking in. Sometimes it happens that you check in, but that the system doesn't register it properly. In other cases people just forget it because they are in a hurry, which is understandable as well. I advise you to contact the NS Customer Service. My colleagues there can check if anything is possible.


A correction of €50 is for when you are checked on a train and don’t have a valid check-in.

Most likely you checked in at the wrong gates. From where to where did you travel on September 14?

  1. Via which route? Did you change in Roermond or in 's-Hertogenbosch?
  2. Which gate (Arriva or NS) did you use in:
    a. Sittard
    b. Nijmegen
  3. If you changed in Roermond: did you check out with NS and check in with Arriva?
