Refund of balance after switching to NS flex

After switching to the Flex tariff, I topped up my card balance by 20 euros, after which it reset to zero. Now I received my first invoice from the NS and 20 euros were not taken into account. How can I get this amount refunded?

You will not receive this balance on the invoice if you topped up after activating NS Flex. You can get this balance back at the service desk on the station.

It seems like the opposite hapened. You loaded 20 euro and that was reset to zero when activating NS Flex. In that case, you will receive the balance after one month.

See Mijn NS journey history if there is an item € Klanten service, this is the balance that was taken from the card.
