Hello, I booked a train for Saturday. I’d like to go at a different time now - can I change the time, please?

There is no rush hour on Saturday. Tickets for domestic trains are valid between 00:00 and 04:00 the next day (all times of Saturday).

 

For international trains you must contact customer service.

 

Ticket for Saturday, you may only travel on Saturday. If necessary, contact customer service by telephone or chat. Usually purchased tickets are final.

If you're taking a domestic journey, there's no such concept - your ticket is valid the entire day. Check for validity during peak hours (06:30 - 09:00 and 16:00 - 18:30). 

Er is geen betere manier om te reizen dan met de trein! Of het van Amsterdam naar Purmerend gaat, of van Aberdeen naar Praag, lekker languit in de trein met een goede lunch en een podcast op. Ik ben niet werkzaam bij NS en betaal vrijwel altijd zelf voor mijn reizen.
