I bought a group ticket for 4 from Schiedam to Ams, and plan to meet up my friend who I shared tickets at Rotterdam Central. I am a ticket holder. Is it anything wrong? Rotterdam is deemed further station than Schiedam? Should I have bought a ticket from Rotterdam to Ams?

It is only possible by taking ic direct to pick up your friend in Rotterdam without the groupticket. You have to pay €2,70 fee.
Taking a normal ic you need a ticket from Rotterdam to Schiedam.
