I bought a ticket from Blaak to Den Haag Central at 17.31. It said invalid code and I was traveling with a dutch student who has OV-studentcard. I couldn’t get into train. I want a refund please.

It sounds like you bought a Joint Journey Discount ticket. These are only valid during off-peak hours, though. This explains why you could not pass the gates during peak hours.
