I have taken out a travel pass for free travel at weekends and public holidays. I only travel on weekends and public holidays. Why do I have to pay at weekends and public holidays? Cancel the travel charge

Did you also pickup your subscription on a ticket machine? Otherwise it won't work.

(And in case you travelled on the 5th of May: that isn't a public holiday this year)

The tag in your message says ‘e-ticket'. If you have a subscription, you should not buy (e-)tickets. You just need to check in and out with your OV-chipcard and the discount will be applied automatically.
