Not able to store my bike even though I have money on ov

I'm not able to store my bike in the guarded storage even with money on my ov chipkaart. I recently got my bike out yesterday and today I tried to put it back but I couldn't.

The money on the OV-chipkaart can not be used to pay for anything else than public transport journeys. You can however subscribe to “Stallen op rekening”. You are then charged from the bank account linked to your OV-chipkaart. The OV-chipkaart is only used to register entry and exit at a fietsenstalling, not for payment purposes.

    Try scanning your bank card to enter the storage.

    Edit: Seems an ov-chipcard is mandatory https://www.ns.nl/en/bicycle-storage/secure-self-service-bicycle-storage.html
