Claim for forgetting check-out

Hi, I just received an invoice of last month. It said I forgot to check out once and charged me for 20 euros. I went to the website of NS and it said I cannot claim a forgotten check in or check out for a trip with an NS Flex product. Why can't I? How can I get my money back?
