Chip card balance disappeared after I bought subscription Flex

Hello!

I bought NS Flex on the 7 th of September and on the 8 th of September I found out that my chip card balance is zero but before I had 18 EUR there and payd 5 for subscription. So my question is where are my money. I always check in and out. So I just have no idea why balance is zero.

With NS Flex you get an invoice at the end of each month for all trips you made, by train, but also by bus, tram and metro. Therefore, you don’t need any balance on the card anymore. The balance that was on the card when you switched to NS Flex will be reimbursed to you on the invoice after the first month (it will be subtracted from the travel costs of the first month and the subscription costs for the second month).
