switch ov-chipkaart to NS Flex

I’ve always used ov-chipkaart to manage my ov, including the payment - which is automatic reloading. But I heard that it’s better to go through NS. So I subscribed to the NS flex Dal Voordeel (to have 40% off on peak hours & weekends). But now I am paying this and it’s not linked with ov-chipkaart (no discounts at all are applied).

Does anybody know how I can switch the payment to NS (not automatic but at the end of the month) so I can also benefit from the NSFLEX? 

PS: I am not dutch and do not understand how everything works ahah

When it is on the same card you do need to activate this on a (yellow) ticket machine at a station. In Dutch: Ophalen bestelling.  When you check-in afterwards you will have the message ‘ Reizen op rekening’ and then it is all set.

    Niet de réiziger op 1, 2 en 3, maar de betálende reiziger op 1,2 en 3! Wat meer controle en handhaving roept geen agressie op, maar voorkomt het juist. De opgekropte ergernis van de betalende reiziger mag best wat meer meetellen.

    Activation requires to hold the OV-chipkaart near the ticket machine sensor twice: once to login and once to receive the info in card memory (after giving the pickup order command).

    During activation the automatic reloading (TLS direct debits) marker will be removed from your OV-chipkaart memory.

    Remaining card balance will also be removed, and invoiced back to you by NS.

    Two new subscription markers will be placed in card memory:

    1. Reizen op rekening trein

    2. Reizen op rekening bus/tram/metro.

    NS will provide monthly invoices with all travel details and collect payment by direct debit.

    Travel discounts are for train travel only, not for bus/tram/metro.
