Interrupted Transfer with Group Off-Peak Ticket

I want to travel from Maastricht to Amsterdam with a group of friends with the E-ticket Group Off-Peak Ticket.

According to the planner, I would have to transfer on Eindhoven Central. Is it possible while transfering exit the train station and do a small trip to the city center and then about an hour later continue and take the next train from Eindhoven to Amsterdam? Or would the ticket no longer valid and we had to buy another?

Thank you in advance,

This ticket is valid all day and you can interrupt your journey as long as you like, that is the advantage of an e-ticket. But take care you only travel during off-peak hours.

There are DIRECT (=NO change) trains ev 30 mins from Mstr-via AMS-onward. So a transfer is not necessary. From Eindh onward even ev ̀10 mins.-in normal times.

What you mean is a stopover/interruption. In any case you are bound to NOT sit in a train in peak hours.
