Invoice - too much

I travelled with NS on 15th of August. I had a student travel product at that time. However, I was charged a full price for the ride. I travelled during the week and my travel product is also set for a week. I though that during summer I would get 40% discount. Am I wrong?

Thank you in advance!

As you state “invoice" in the subject: do you happen to have an NS Flex subscription on the same chipcard as your student travel product?

Those two products cannot be combined on the same card, so you should remove flex from the card and re-order the subscription on a new card.

Good evening @olafasola778888, welcome to the NS Community!

I would like to ask you to contact our customer service via phone, chat, Facebook or X. My colleague can then look at the journey with you and see if your subscription was valid.

No need for a new card, just remove NS Flex (Dal Voordeel or Weekend Voordeel) because the student product already gives 40% discount.

For Flex Weekend Vrij, it’s best to put that on another card, because having it on the same card will override the student discount in bus/tram/metro in weekends (and in trains from 16 July - 15 August, as you have experienced). A new card with Weekend Vrij is free.
