Question about accidentally scanned ov chipkaart instead of my ticket

Dear sir/madam,

Greetings! I bought a children day ticket at 4/2 on Saturday, and I got from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. But when I checked out, I accidentally scanned my ov chipkaart because I thought it was the check in for the train. It fined me 20 eruo on my ov chipkaart. Is it possible to get my money back? The ticket I used at that day is 54009846. Thank you so much in advance

Is it allowed to travel with a children day ticket at your age? 

Niet de réiziger op 1, 2 en 3, maar de betálende reiziger op 1,2 en 3! Wat meer controle en handhaving roept geen agressie op, maar voorkomt het juist. De opgekropte ergernis van de betalende reiziger mag best wat meer meetellen.
